High Five!

My sister does an amazing job of capturing all of her son's witty comments. Me, not so much... But, today, Lexi had me smiling once again and I just had to share it. We are at the summer cottage (hytta) in Arendal. For those that don't know, it is slowly become more modernized, but it still lacks water and sewer. For instance, we have electricity, a full kitchen and WiFi, but... you still have to haul water indoors from the outdoor tap and then boil it to drink it or use it for showering, etc. You also have a bit of a rustic toilet situation.... Er, um... ask Jen.

Anyway, I digreess...well, sort of. Lexi went to the toilet today and I was praising her for remembering what to do (you don't throw the toilet paper in the toilet chamber... you put it in a seperate trash can). So, I said something like "You did a good job Lexi, well done." To which she responded "You did a good job too Mamma" quickly followed by "High Five". I really didn't think I had heard her correctly (when do we ever do high fives???) So, I turned and said "what did you say?" To which she responded... "high five" and stuck her hand in the air. Duh!

Here we are at the beach earlier in the afternoon.
