Don't blink...February is almost gone!

I just dumped the pics from my camera onto my laptop and there are way too many good pictures which warrant a new blog entry. All is good here. February was a fairly busy month with the "regular" activities (Lexi goes to dance classs on Tuesdays and AWANA at the church on Thursdays), a long weekend in Feda, more snow and Tim's birthday. So, here are some pics taken since the last blog entry.

Another trip to the ice skating rink...

Practicing on the new skates

I seriously need to quit putting my hair in a ponytail! I hate it in pictures!

A trip to the indoor water park while in Feda for our long weekend.

Exactly what Pappa wanted to do for his birthday :)
Lillian needed some time out of the water
Lexi finally worked up the nerve to go down the water slide. She LOVED it! She wanted to go over and over again - always with Tim. She hadn't done it solo yet. (baby steps...)
A pic of the slide (white tube looking thing). It starts at the top and turns 180 degrees to come down the other direction.
And here is what it looked like outside...
Lillian and I are part of our local "barselgruppe" - moms in the very near area that gave birth in the same time period. We had a get together on Wednesday. Only 7 of the 9 of us could make it. There are 4 girls and 5 boys to make up the 9. The pic below has 3 girls. All babies were born in Oct/Nov (Lillian is the youngest) with the exception of one that was born premature in late August at 30 weeks. He was supposed to have been born in Nov.
Lexi got her hair trimmed and the hairstylist braided it afterwards and Lexi chose purple hairspray. She thought that was the coolest ever!
Eating out for Tim's birthday.
Ok, so it was a very busy week, and the best I could do was a cookie cake and a very poor (time-constrained) attempt at decorating it. So, no laughing please. It tasted just fine! (I only make desserts with chocolate chips these days as I now have three (3) seventy two ounce (72oz) bags in my freezer!) - basically, that means that I need to do a thorough clean-out of the deep freeze and see what else I can find in its deep, dark depths. :)

Lillian is already 3 months old! Where does time go???

Lillian turned 3 months old this week and weighed in at 6025g (13#, 4oz) and 61cm (24"). At her check-up, she was declared healthy and well and received 2 vaccines. Poor little one did NOT like them at all. But, thankfully, after a being a bit unsettled the rest of that day and evening, she is back to normal. Here she is on Thursday morning...

Thanks Deb, Elita and Lailah for the beautiful outfit!

We do baby swimming on Thursdays - this was her second time as we missed the first week due to a little cold that she had. She dove under water twice this Thursday. (It's a requirement in Norway to wear the rather fashionable swim caps.... no comments, please.)
Bright eyes... (that appear to be staying blue)
Going a bit further backwards in time, here is Lexi last Sunday morning before church. Thanks Aunt Brenda and Cousins Jen and Jonathan for the beautiful dress!
Lexi was feeling cuddly AND photogenic on Sunday morning. Lillian also wore her dress from the Goodwins. THANK YOU!
Going even further back in time, here is Lexi on the Sunday after Grammy and Grandpa left. We finally dried-up all of the tears (and sobs) and put on our warm clothes for going ice skating.
And here she is trying out her new skates from Aunt Linn and Abel and cousin Luna. Tim said that she practiced a bit with the penguin and then had several solo rounds. She had a blast.

What a wonderful week....

What a January! We enjoyed an awesome 8 days with Aunt Kristy and Cousin Mark visiting followed by a wonderful 9 days with Grammy and Grandpa. As you probably read from the below blog entry, Lexi also turned 4! Whew! January has flow by in a whirlwind of fun. We are sad to say goodbye to Grammy and Grandpa tomorrow morning, but feel like we have made the most of their time with us. Here are some of the precious moments that we captured with our cameras... (sorry, I just couldn't narrow them down any more...so, there are 20+ pics)
